Physical Therapy
Jen works alongside patients and athletes to correct complex and simple orthopedic and musculoskeletal dysfunctions. She is highly skilled at differential diagnoses and getting to the root cause of chronic conditions affecting the body from performing to its full potential. She works 1:1 with clients, providing the full attention to detail you deserve. She offers individualized concierge services so you can get the treatment your body requires (not dictated by insurance).
We offer the following services and specialties:

55-75 minutes, 1:1

This is a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and assessment. We will begin to determine the root cause of the dysfunction. There will be special consideration for any clues the body is leaving in regards to systemic inflammation. You will be provided education and instruction on an appropriate home program. You will also be educated on any holistic approaches that may aid your healing (nutrition, nervous system, circadian rhythm, etc…)

We will continue to progress and address: dysfunctional movement patterns, joint and tissue mobility, strength and nervous system feedback. You will be educated each step of the way so that you understand the plan of care. You will also be provided updated instructions and home exercise program after each visit.

Each session we will review strengths and address any weaknesses. Exercises and movements guided to address limitations with function or performance. This was created because past patients have enjoyed working with Jen and want to address other issues that do not require physical therapy, but would still benefit from that level of expertise. Others seek personal training, but have a complicated medical history or structural abnormalities that would benefit from more attention to detail.

Jen is certified with both Slowtwitch and BikeFit as a professional bike fit specialist for road, triathlon/ time trial, gravel, cyclocross and mountain bike. She is also certified in shoe pedal interface to align your bony structure for more efficiency with pedal stroke, power output and injury prevention.
She corrects pain and dysfunction with cycling patients (on bikes and on Pelotons in homes). She can enhance your performance, efficiency and power application with her physical therapy and sports medicine background.

Jen has a special interest in working with you and your care team to get to the root of the dysfunction. She will take a deep dive into integrative, functional medicine and systemic inflammatory clues.
We examine your past medical history in depth. We will discuss drainage pathways (with special consideration to the lymphatic system and craniosacral rhythm), gut health, bile movers, food sensitivities and any clues from your skin. She will analyze labs and look into any potential triggers contributing towards inflammation, while working alongside your care team. She will teach you how to discover triggers and helpers, use movement, herbs, food, food preparation to aid what your body needs.

Jen works alongside you (and any other coaches) to provide movement based phases in combination with your performance goals. She pays careful attention to where you are in your athletic season to provide structure for: mobility, strength, explosive power, power transfer, movement dysfunction correction and tapering.

$160 (includes cost of insoles)
Jen has a special niche with feet and toes since they are the foundation for all movement and propulsion.
This service includes an evaluation of your feet and recommendation for semi-custom foot orthoses (shoe inserts) if they would benefit. You can typically leave with insoles the same day. The insoles will be custom molded to your foot. She will make recommendations for shoe wear or any additional tools as needed.

Jen is certified in dry needling and uses both the piston and electrical stimulation techniques to help resolve muscle spasms, nerve pain, and retrain the nervous system for muscle re-education/ strengthening.
This can be incorporated with a physical therapy session (or as a reduced time session if you are a prior patient of Jen’s).

Jen is trained in myofascial release, cupping, iASTM (instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, specifically Graston), craniosacral and orthopedic manual therapy.
She has had patients seek her out for her skills with soft tissue and scar adhesions. She will use these modalities in combination with services above.

Jen is certified in Kinesio Taping. She uses this skill as necessary for scar restrictions, lymphatic correction, muscle spasm, muscle activation, joint mobility, post-injury (sprains, bruising & fractures).
Athletes will also seek her out for a taping session prior to an athletic event (as requested).
